about

After experimenting wildly on previous singles released in the early 80s, Graham penned a clutch of personal, thoughtful songs more rooted in his own experience. It became the LP, Love at the Hacienda.

Everyday tales of loss and yearning ride on a bed of lushly chiming guitars and Juno 60 synthwash. Singalong tunes and finely wrought lyrics which indulge Fellows’s passion for the mundane and the everyday. 'Seven Pints and a Suicide' was performed on a Kids TV show at the time, and Chappell Music awarded Graham a 3 year publishing contract after hearing this record. But the comedy world beckoned and Graham turned his back on a pop career.

In recent years Love at the Hacienda’s cache has steadily grown and recently 2nd hand copies have changed hands for over £200. An indie pop masterpiece which few had the chance to hear the first time round, it is now reissued with extra tracks.
